In 1846, Giuseppe Menabrea journeyed to Biella, a town located in the Italian Alps, and discovered an underground cave system that was ideal for the traditional process of 'lagering'. Combined with crisp, pure water and cold, fresh mountain air, this location was perfect for building a brewery. Menabrea's lager is carefully aged in our cave cellars, resulting in a superiorly clear flavour. This 4.8% ABV pale lager strikes a perfect balance between zesty, bitter notes and delicate, fruity undertones, providing a consistently refined taste. Its complex blend of malty and hoppy flavours is enhanced by our use of high-quality ingredients and meticulous maturation process.
